Meet Our Experienced Sports Immigration Attorneys

Chloe Dybdahl brings more than 20 years of experience and dedication to U.S. immigration practice.  Most recently, she spent nearly 16 years with the Department of State as an attorney for the Bureau of Consular Affairs.  Her mission is to understand a client’s personal and professional goals and provide guidance specifically tailored to meet their unique needs.

During her time at the Department of State, Chloe served as Chief of the Legal Advisory Opinions Division.  In that role, Chloe provided guidance to senior government leaders in four administrations and trained consular officers at U.S. embassies and consulates around the world and worked closely with the National Visa Center and Kentucky Consular Center.  

She worked extensively with the Department of Homeland Security on complex immigration policy matters and with the Department of Justice to address litigation involving complicated immigration and national security issues.  Chloe also worked as a consular officer in the Caribbean, South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.  Her experience not only gives her expertise in immigration law, but unique insights into how government officials apply the law. 

Chloe has been honored for her guidance to U.S. consular officers overseas in adjudicating visas, leading change and innovation, and high-profile litigation work, including cases before the Supreme Court.  She is an honors graduate of Mount Holyoke College and Tulane University School of Law.  She is admitted to practice in Colorado, Virginia, and before the Supreme Court.  Chloe played lacrosse in college and now enjoys skiing, Peloton, and cheering on her daughters.

Tyler Johnson is a seasoned transactional lawyer with over 15 years of experience representing public and private companies in matters ranging from mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities issuances, debt instruments, and commercial contracts.  In addition, he is a certified Major League Baseball player agent which gives him a unique perspective on the intersection of law and sports.

Prior to joining Jetr Law, Tyler was Senior Counsel at a boutique law firm in Santa Monica for over 11 years where he acted as lead counsel in numerous mid-market M&A deals, outside general counsel for major brands in the tech and consumer goods spaces, and personal counsel for high-net-worth individuals.  He also advised start-up companies from inception through funding and exit, providing guidance on matters relating to day-to-day operations and long-term strategy.

He served as in-house counsel at Southern California Edison, where he led regulatory filings relating to large-scale purchases of renewable energy, and before that he was an associate (and summer associate) at Bryan Cave LLP (now Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner).  Tyler spent one year in Quito, Ecuador teaching at the Escuela Politécnica Nacional.  He received his B.A. from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from Loyola Law School.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys teaching ESL classes with the San Gabriel Valley Literacy Counsel and working with Angel City Pit Bulls.
